The Pekoe FAQ
Your questions, answered.
Everything you need to know before you order.
What is Pekoe?
An evening herbal blend of eight botanicals, made to support digestive comfort. It is a blend we have made for more than 10 years.
Is Pekoe for bloating and constipation?
Yes. That is what its herbs are traditionally used for: digestive comfort after meals, including bloating, and occasional constipation.
What is in Pekoe?
Chamomile, anise, fennel, senna (2%), rhubarb, sage, rose and rosemary.
How do I drink it?
Pour 200 ml of freshly boiled water over one tea bag, steep for 5 to 10 minutes and press gently. Enjoy 1 cup before bedtime, up to 2 cups a day.
Who should ask a doctor first?
Pregnant or breastfeeding women, people taking medication, and anyone with a medical condition. Pekoe is not for children. If you feel unwell, stop and speak to your doctor.
Why does the box say "slimming tea"?
That is the wording on our current boxes, and we are refreshing the packaging soon. Pekoe is not a fat burner. If you are following a diet or fixing your eating habits, it can be a helpful part of your routine: fennel is traditionally taken by people who are watching their appetite, and a warm cup in the evening is an easy replacement for late-night snacking. The blend inside is the one we have made for more than 10 years.
Which pack should I choose?
One box is 30 tea bags, one for each evening, plus 10 free bags. Two boxes come with free delivery, and three boxes give you the best price per box, with free delivery too.
